The climate of Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Andaman and Nicobar Island is known to have a tropical climate. The summer season remains from the month of January to April and the Monsoons remain from the month of May to December. No winter season has been recorded in the Islands till date. Overall, five major weather patterns have been recorded in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During the monsoon, rainfall of 3000mm reaches the islands annually. The seasonal period for travel to the Isles is considered to be from the month of November to April. During the period of March to May, humidity is high due to which it is considered as an off-season travel.
